I just found one item that can help on keeping the pet hair under control. So I was at Target and I bought two for one deal! I was very excited It’s called

It’s the best thing ever. It really work’s i use it for the sofas and the car. The one problem that i did find, is that once’s they are full of hair you have to get rid of them.

But today I was cleaning the carpet and then using the vacuum, I noticed that you can use one of the skinny attachments. Such as the one for corners. I stuck it in the middle of the two section of the Fabric Sweeper and it emptied it out!!   So I can reuse this over and over ! I reused it right away and it’s still collecting my dog’s hair.

The attachment  looks like the one on the left bottom side. It’s tip is at an angle.

I like to go and get my supplies at Sally’s Beauty Supplies. A membership is not needed. But you may want to get the club card which is $5.00, that allows you to buy things at a discount price. I love it   Anyone can go !  Next I’ll give you a list on things your going to need

1. Color
2. Gloves
3. A Tint bottle or plastic! bowl/brush
4. A Comb
5. Protective lotion such as coco butter any lotion
6. Timer
7. Developer
8. And a measuring cup or what i use to use was the little cups at the top of the medicine bottles . Because it has the measurements  right on it
9. Color wheel

So when going to the store you know what to get all at once and not have to make 2 or 3 trips.  Now it’s time to know what color to get ! 

So I’ll put an example on why this is so important!  I myself am a level 3 which is a dark brown. I like to be a Level 6 which is like a light brown.  So i’ll be going 3 levels lighter. I’ll  use  Either a Level 6 or 7 light brown or blonde with a 30 vol developer.  To get it  as close to the level 6 that I want. keep in mind that it may not look exactly like the color on the box or piece of hair shown.

Now I am going to talk about why I picked 30 vol.  Which is also going to help you decide.

There are the different levels of developer also know as hydrogen peroxide.

1. They have 10 vol which is only used to deposit color!! Use for darker hair going darker or light hair going darker.
2. There is the 20 vol which is to lighten two levels
3. There is a 30 vol which is to lighten three levels
4. And 40 vol which is to lighten four levels

I hope you see the pattern in the levels, I stick between 10 and 30 . They come in two forms cream and liquid. I like the cream because it’s less runny, Keep in mind that the lower the level the less damaging it’s going to be on your hair.

Always test a few strands of hair first. Too many women skip this step and end up with a color they despise. Once the color is in, it’s harder to change.

A tip that I’ve learned the hard way, is that not  to try  bleaching  your hair blonde! If you hair is Dark it’s going to be very hard and damaging to your hair. Do not try that at home go to a hair professional. I would recommend first getting a full head of highlights before going to light. I can not stress this enough !

Here are some also other helpful tips. When your done with your hair If there is an unwanted shade. This was always helpful I’ll put me as an example . Before i knew anything about color . I would always get a blonde shade and it would say gold or warm on the box. I would hate it on my hair, I felt like it was orange not (carrot top orange) . But i would really dislike it!

So in order for me to fix it in other words make it less orange. As my teacher like to say it neutralize the color. You need to pick another base color such as a blonde with an undertone of blue. It’s not saying that your hair is going to be blue it’s going to help you achieve a true color of the shade or blonde or color that you choose.  Many of you are asking why blue in a color wheel orange is on one side across from it is blue. A color wheel is also helpful in make-up application to know which colors look best together.

Recap- This information is not on box color such as the one you get the supermarket. There is underline pigment levels 1 threw 10, keep in mind the less you do on your hair the better. Also I’ll have pictures of the examples if you like a color pick one or two shades lighter. One more time do not bleach your hair on your own!!! I ended up with orange tips and yellow white top!!!  Use cream developer it’s not runny. Always were gloves, if you get hair dye on your skin use a cotton ball and spray it with aerosol hairspray and wipe, that’s is why it’s very important to use a protective cream. Another tip Ash colors always get rid of red in the hair. Hope this information was helpful I do have links and books to also better direct you to more information.  HAVE FUN!

See this is a ash-which means green, as you can see the hair is not green. Ash is good for people who have red hair or tones that are red. And want to get red of it.

This is a neutral which it true to its color.

Hair dyes can come in liquid or cream as well.  If your at the store and need help just ask. It’s all very easy  :D
